How did you stick to your diet?!

Question: How did you stick to your diet!?
I have been able before to stick to a strict and healthy diet, and I lost maybe twenty pounds!. I have gained back the twenty pounds in the past year and want to lose them again, my weight yo-yos quite a bit!. So I have started eating healthier again, but I feel like it's harder to control myself!. What are some things that helped you stick to your diet!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Keep a lot of veggies in the house!. Keep 1/2 the number of fruits as veggies in your house!. As long as you eat 2x as many veggies as fruits, you are in good shape!. Keep things that are high glycemic, starchy, and wheat products out of your house!. So basically!.!.!.all your bad foods!.

To stick to it, treat yourself ONE time a week for each of your meals!. So, 1 day a week, eat a sandwich for lunch!. 1 time a week, eat cereal for breakfast (I haven't ate cereal because I no longer drink milk lol read something bad about it and will never drink it again)!. 1 time a week, have some mashed potatoes with your HEALTHY dinner!. We call these VACATION days!. Do not call these days cheating days as that is a negative term and you do not want to think negative while dieting!. So have 3 vacation meals a week!.

What I find to help too is to do something healthy like go for a power walk, jog, run, do a work out video like P90x or a yoga routine!. Find something healthy to do and you will want to continue to stay on your healthy diet!.

Foods I would recommend removing from your diet and replacing them with healthier alternatives
ANY cows milk unless it is RAW - replace with Almond Milk
Any soy milk - replace with Almond milk
Peanut butter - replace with almond butter (peanuts have a thing called aflatoxin!.!.!.sounds bad and is bad)
Oils - make sure you get coconut oil if you plan to cook on heats higher than medium!. Anything lower than that you can use olive oil but if you go above medium, the oil turns rancid and turns into transfat and if fast food companies are trying to get rid of transfat you KNOW it has to be NASTY
- Other oils to get to put in healthy shakes would be fish oils or cod liver oils!. With our bad diets, we can almost NEVER get enough of omega 3's!.
Margarine - BUTTER is GOOD!. Make sure to get organic, unsalted/unsweetened!. This is also fine to cook with!.
If you buy wheat products, get gluten free!. So many people have an allergy to it yet we never address it!.
Table salt - replace with celtic sea salt - you can find this at Whole Foods or even on Amazon!.
Dips - I'd recommend looking into hummus!. This is a great alternative to dips and it comes in a variety of flavors!. I like to dip sugar snap peas in it, red/green/yellow/orange peppers, etc!. Make it a healthy snack!.

These are some products to help make you healthier:
Tooth pastes - Get Tom's of Maine fluoride free toothpaste!. I have the one with whitening and my teeth feel so much cleaner and they have become so much whiter on it than any other brand I've used!.
Deodorant - females should definitely go organic!. Almost all female deodorants (besides the Adidas brands have aluminum in it which is carcinogenic) - I have a theory as to why women get breast cancer in the upper outer region most!.!.!.and I believe it's due to your deodorants!. I'm trying out some Thai organic spray (found on amazon) and it's in the mail now!. Tom's of main also has organic deodorant, but it just doesn't work well for me!.
Stay away from microwaves as much as you can!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I believe the key to sticking to any sort of change is to do it slowly!. If you have lost the weight before then you are fully aware of foods that are healthy for you and those that aren't!. Make a list of all the unhealthy items you consume on a daily basis!. Each week you should aim to eliminate one bad item and add one good item!. For example, eliminate soda (including diet) and add roasted broccoli!. Each week eliminate one bad habit and add one good habit!. Eventually you will be left with no unhealthy habits and will have gained a whole lot of new healthy ones!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Knowing my long life is dependent on it as long as I avoid disaster or catastrophe!.

Try these foods:

In my case, throughout the week my diet consists of only these items, 1% fat milk, organic(complex carb!.) cereal, banana, orange juice, hard boiled egg whites, hummus(chick peas), whole wheat toast, apple, whole wheat wraps, tuna, grilled chicken, celery, onions, different peppers(some have high sodium), mixed greens lettuce, scallions, natural peanut butter, whole wheat crackers, Mixed berries(blueberry, blackberry, rasberry), spinach, fat free yogurt, cucumbers, tomatoes, parsley, raw carrots, raw broccoli, ginger, garlic, black beans, brown rice, sunflower seeds, almonds, walnuts, any other fruits or veggies, lemon juice is good, kiwi, grapefruit (excellent for weight loss), olive oil, salmon, some green tea and whey protein post workout!.

I do the 2000-2500 calorie thing a day!. 5-6 meals dependent on workout schedule!. If you lose more than 1-2 lbs!. a week, than your problem will get worse as you get older!. Your body needs to recognize that it is working on less stored fat!. If you lose the weight too fast and shock your body, you are pretty much confusing it (hence the extra skin and major fluctuation in body weight)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ive never had a weight problems but i know what the problem is because i used steroids( ok let me explaine)!. when people go on a diet they usually loose the weight and see themselfs looking good!. ( i was building muscle VERY fast and LOVING IT) but then you get to the point you wanna be and say ok i look good now and pretty much think you can do whatever you want by that i mean eat whatever you want and not go to the gym as much!. but let me tell you something you can LOOSE it just as fast as you GAIN IT!. and in your case you can GAIN it much FASTER then you can loose it!. so basically when you see yourself looking better and getting to where you wanna be DONT STOP what your doing!.!.!.KEEP EATING RIGHT!. KEEP GOING TO THE GYM!.!.AND KEEP HEADS TURNING!!! good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just knowing my goal and what I will look and feel like when I get there keeps me pretty motivated!. A good idea is to not buy or keep any junk in your house and to plan your meals ahead of time!. Its okto cheat every once in a while!. Also, I posted up a pic of me when I was skinny and in a bikini on my fridge and that helps everytime I go to snakc or try to eat alot!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just read a statistic that said 38% of people mistake feelings of dehydration for that of hunger!. I'd say when you feel hungry, drink a whole glass of water!. If you still feel hungry, have a piece of fruit as a snack in between meals!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not keeping junky snacks around the house!. It's usually not worth the effort to go out and get something if it's not readily available at homeWww@Answer-Health@Com

Eat three times daily in your home with others (family)!.
Walk much and ride cars less!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
