Answers:
You should consume about 1500 calories a day to lose weight!. Weight loss is an overall process and there are no magic answers!. Pay no attention to weight loss supplements and pills and all the latest fads!. You need to think about many factors but most of them are related to issues we've known about for a very long time!. There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term if you need to lose weight!. It can be done in a healthy way!. This is what has worked for me!.

Keeping a food journal really does help!. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why!.

Make a few additional small changes - walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer!. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea!. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days!. Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer!. Buy one piece of exercise equipment to have at home and be strict with yourself about using it!. Sometimes you can find mini-steppers or exercise bikes at second hand stores and thrift stores for just a few dollars!.

Start a weight lifting routine!. Join a gym!. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners!. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall!. Even if you can't get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house!. Invest in a good weight training book!. The Dummies series actually has a good one!.

In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food!. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish!. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts!. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy!.

Make your portion sizes smaller!. Use a smaller plate - in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don't!. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies!.

Learn to count calories!. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight!. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day!.

Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals!. Never skip breakfast!. Include some protein in your breakfast!. It will help get you through the day!.

Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices!. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice!. You will begin to see changes in your body!.

An area that many people overlook is getting enough sleep!. You are much more likely to overeat or to binge eat if you are tired and not well rested, so get enough sleep!.

No, it's a terrible idea!. Your organs need a certain amount of calories to work right!. If you eat only 700 calories, then burn off 700 calories, your metabolism will drop through the floor!. You'll lose the weight, but for every pound you lose due to fasting, 60% is muscle tissue and 40% is fat!. By losing that muscle, you will decrease your metabolism!. When you eat normally again, or even if you eat a little more than you had been, you'll gain like crazy!.

Keep a balanced diet, with at least 30% protein, at least 40% carbs, and at the very minimum 20% good fats like Omega oils!. When you balance it like this, you'll have lots of energy for cardio and your muscles will tone up thanks to the protein!. And seriously, if you are going to be doing a buttload of cardio, you should consume at least 2000 calories a day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Terrible idea!.

An average male is supposed to consume around 2000 calories a day!. Think about it; if you consume 700 a day, then burn it all off, where are you going to get all your nutrition from!? Where you going to get all the vitamins from!? How is your body going to give you enough energy to start your exercise and burn the calories!. Simply, it wont!.

Therefore, try to consume around 1200 or so calories a day and do exercise!. You should see some result a little while after!. This is because, when you start exercise most weight you lose is only water weight!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

well depending on your height and if you are male or female makes a difference!. 25lbs to lose is not that hard!. what counts is absolutely controling what youre eating and then daily exercise!. now if you plan on going to the gym you have to keep in mind what your plan of action is!. weights and cardio!? cardio only!? weights only!? weights and cardio would probably be optimal but i reccomend lifting lighter if you want to lose 25 lbs in 3 months or so!. this would help you tone up while burning calories!. i dont think you have to limit yourself to 700 calories!. try between 1500 and 2000!. just pay attention to what your eating, low salts, low carb, and no suagars!. water is a godsend when it comes to weight control!. try to eat 3-5 meals a day!. especially a light breakfast!. snack on granola bars or low fat yogurt!. eat lots of chicken and greens!. also, losing weight increases your bathroom habits so be sure to eat lots of fiber!. if you dont eat lots of fiber normally get some metamucil!. and always get at least 7-8 hours of sleep!. sleeping allows your body to cool and when youre body is cooler you will burn more calories!. SLEEPING! its true!. now get to work!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Calories is a large subject when it comes to weight loss!. We need to understand three definitions: the amount of calories in our food, the amount of calories a certain activity uses up hourly, and finally our own personal daily allowance of calories!. The only method that really worked for me was green tea, it can be checked out in the resource box underneath, they have a limited number of free trials left, it was highlighted in Reader's Digest and CNN!. I lost 20 pounds, it really does produce success!Www@Answer-Health@Com

you will be burning muscle if you do that!. You have to keep a normal calorie diet but just eat better foods instead of junk!. Then you can work out!. If you did what you want to do you would be completely burning your muscle and it would be extremely unhealthy!. You are supposed to have like 2,000 calories a day!. NOT 700!. Just watch what you eat!. NOT how much you eat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
