If I just get up and walk for a couple of hours everyday at a steady pace?!


Question: If I just get up and walk for a couple of hours everyday at a steady pace!?
A walking meditation, will that do any good for my health!?
Lets say!.!.!. I get up at 5 AM and instead of a seated meditation Iw ak outside until about 8 AM!.
Not heavy pace, just walking!.

anything that gets the heart rate up is good for your health!.
it all depends on the purpose of the walk, to lose weight increase your speed at gradual intervals, you can do this regardless if you are trying to slim down!.
It is perfect in my opinion for clearing the mind and focusing ones thoughts!. I would avoid music, and concentrate on the sound of your feet hitting the pavement, this steady and constant pace has a focusing effect, similar to the sorry don't know the name, (ticks back and forth used for music)
it makes you concentrate on your breathing, all the things that sitting on your backside mediating does for you, but with more healthier results!.

walking is the best all around cardio exercise!.!.!.it's also a good form of meditation!.!.

With or without music, a good walk everyday will clear the mind and rejeuvenate the body better than squatting on your haunches, uttering mantras!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It couldn't hurt!. Walking is great for stress relief!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
