How do i get my biceps bigger?!


Question: How do i get my biceps bigger!?
is heavy weight, low rep a key!? how many times should i do it!? and how heavy should i do it!? i did it last year, and my arms have gotten softer because i have stopped working out!.!. :(Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes you are correct, heavy weight and low reps is the key, not light weights!.
You need to be lifting a weight you can do about 6 reps with and no more, so on the 6th rep you are struggling with all your life!
When i work my bicpes (or any muscle group) I first do a warm up set with very light weights, say 12 reps, to get the blood pumping!. After a minute do another set, about 8 reps, with 40% of your final weight!. After another minutes rest lift 80% of your final weight, just 2 or 3 reps!. Another rest and then 1 or 2 reps 90%!. These warm up sets are essential before lifting heavy weights, they get the blood pumping in your muscles and them them used to what is about to come!!.!.!.
Now you can begin the workout - 3 sets of 6 reps, with 2-3 mins rest inbetween!.
Do this for 3 different excercises so you do about 9 sets in total!. You dont need to do the warm up sets for the rest of the excercices, just the first one!.
This can be applied to any muscle group!. Because this is such an intense work out only work a muscle group once a week!. But trust me after about 8 weeks you will seriously notice a difference!
Excerices you can do for biceps - dumbell curls, hammer curls, barbell and EZ bar curls, but perhaps the best exercise for biceps - close grip chin ups (palms facing you)!. And if you can do more than 6 reps with ease then use a weights belt and add extra weight!.

First don't stop working out!. Here's what I found not all workouts work the same on every individual!. I experimented and bought alot of muscle mags and tried various workouts until I found which worked best for me so I use heavy weights and was told if you cant get at least 6 reps then its to heavy!. I live by that and have no complaints but that's just me!. I also do super slow repetitions sometimes until positive failure or just before positive failure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think lower weight more reps is more useful!. Do push ups and bench!. Also if you have like 10-30 pound weights, depending on your strength, lay flat on your back on a bench while holding two of them, one in each hand, and raise them both up!. then bring one arm down and raise it back up like a punching motion, repeat on the other arm, and do reps of those!. you should do 10 in each arm for a rep, so find a weight that will help you do that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Knowing which arm exercises to use in your workouts will give you the biggest bang for your efforts and pack on the most amount of muscle!.
