Is there something wrong with my eating habits?!

Question: Is there something wrong with my eating habits!?
My parents keep nagging me about not eating lunch at school, but honestly, I'm not hungry around lunch time, but when I get home at about three thirty I always eat something!.

For example, today I've eaten!.!.!.!.

-A slice of fruit loaf and two shortbread biscuits dipped in a glass of milk at 12 noon!. (I guess you could call this brunch and I woke up a bit late for breakfast!.
-A ham roll at 2pm (I usually get hungry around this time, or a little later)
-Jacket potato, portion of meat and a portion of vegetables at 6:30pm

Later on I might have a bowl of cereal at about 9pm!.

On a school day I have breakfast at about 7:30am, but don't get hungry until about 1pm when I have a cereal bar/crisps/bagel/wrap!.!.etc!. Then I eat something random at about 4pm, then have dinner at 6pm!.

On weekends I tend to pick at biscuits and such!.!.!.

I'm naturally slim and therefore not worried about my weight (I'll happily pig out at McDonald's on a Saturday or stuff chocolate at school)!.

I've always eaten less than guideline daily amounts and 'five a day'!.!.!.etc!. Tbh, I've never really liked fruit and veg, ever since I was a toddler!. Despite this, I've always been perfectly healthy!. My mother is the same, but she insists on nagging me when I don't eat my lunch until 3pm!.!.!.!.

So, is there anything wrong with the way I eat!?
Thanks,

I think you are eating enough!.!.(Most people these days overeat) !.but sometimes the wrong foods!. Biscuits are really all fat and sugar - junk food!.
Some young people will appear healthy, no matter what they eat!. But this does not mean `damage` is not being done to their bodies!. Serious damage (like cholesterol - blocked arteries) take a lifetime of unhealthy eating!. But it starts when you are young!.
You should really try to eat more veggies and fruit!. A more balanced diet!.
But I would say you are on the right track - you are obviously not a greedy person who can`t stop pigging out !.!.and you only eat when you are genuinely hungry!. That is good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey there!.
I would say there isn't anything worngg because you eating breakfast which is the most important meal!. You should eat 5 a day though also, a glass of fruit juice not dilute also counts as one of your 5 a day, i understand your a kid, and kids don't usually like fruit and veg!.
Well you are eating all 3 meals so no i would say your fine!. But you said that you ate something at 1 which is almost dinner time and then sumet at 4 then yourr tea/dinner at 6 that sounds fine if you ask me!.
Im 13 but i eat breakfast bout same time on a school day as you then i'll have a snack at 11 then my lunch at 1:10 then i might have a snack when i get in about 4 then my dinner/tea at bout 5:30!. thats not that different to yours it is a bit but not much!.
Hope i helped
Hannah!.

No, your body isn't using energy (you get energy from food) as fast as most people's bodies!. Which is good!. I myself do not always/usually eat breakfast in the morning!. But if I do, it is about at 7:20, and I only eat maybe a piece of bread or two at 11:53 at school!. And then I eat lunch at home at about 4:10!. Supper is usually at 8:00!. It is normal!. Our bodies do not use energy as fast as many people's bodies!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The key for losing weight is simple - consume less food and exercise more - the problems arise when we in reality try to put that into operation! There are loads of stumbling blocks in the big wide world aren't there!?! The one diet that definitely delivered for me is green tea, it can be checked out in the resource box underneath, they have a small number of free trials left, it was featured in Fox News and USA Today!. I lost 30 pounds, it definitely does work!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I really wouldn't think so!.!.!.in a world where people are constantly being pushed to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and full meals for each, it's likely a contributor to why we're so overweight!. I think you might benefit from a multivitamin to increase your nutrient intake (calcium and protein, especially), and make sure you're getting enough fluids, but if your belly, body, and mind are content with your habits, there isn't anything 'wrong' with how you go about feeding yourself, so long as you get it done!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
