How can I stop eating so much?!


Question: How can I stop eating so much?
I'm 15 years old tomorrow, and I way 150. an i'm 5'6? I don't eat that much at school but i do work out. but the time I get home I eat just about every thing. I use to go out side and be active but it makes it hard because i'm grounded for 4 mouths. dose anyone no how I can stop eating so much?

Eat breakfast and lunch. You're starving by the time you get home to the stocked pantry, keep your blood sugar at a steady rate throughout the day and that'll help.
You're probably also eating because you're bored. Start a project and/or do calisthenics in your room to pass the time, or after the four months are over you'll be 180 pounds.
Finally, exercise some self-control. You don't *have* to eat, have a glass of water and find something to occupy your mind with.



Well, if you just want to eat less, it will be hard initially. But it definitely gets easier with time since your stomach will shrink when you eat less, and then you won't feel hungry over time. That's if you exclude psychological reasons for eating.

Also, if you are still hungry, and suffering, make an omelette or scambled eggs made of egg whites (exclude the egg yolks). You can eat basically as many egg whites as you want and still lose weight since egg whites are only 15 calories a piece (a whole egg is 75 calories though since egg yolks are roughly 60 calories).

Good luck! The goal is to make it a habit, then it will not be so hard over time. You can do it! The best thing to do is to try to eat about 1800 calories a day and exercise (you can exercise in your room too by just running in place, doing pushups, situps, etc). Go for it!

Drink lots of water so you will be full and less inclined to eat (it is also very good for you). Also you could try occupying yourself with something else, like a hobby.

I'd tell your parents that being grounded should not entail some punishment that could be detrimental to your well-being ;D
