Stretching before and/or after a workout has been in hot debate forever. Some people swear by stretching before a workout, others say that youre stretching "cold" muscles and risk injury.
Keep stretching! Find new positions. A great way to do this is to try yoga. A lot of people swear by hot yoga... I've never tried it but it sounds fun.
Some people just arent as stretchy as others. Just dont hurt yourself trying to be elastic : )
Get one of the special bands that go around your wrist that you see on TV occasionally. I got one, and it actually works- I was bending all the way backwards. The band has a magnet in it or something similar that works on your body in a natural way and the result is being more flexible.
You need to stretch *before* you exercise. After is a nice cool-down, but your flexibility will come by stretching it out in advance of, say, shortening your hamstrings by running.
Try Bikram yoga-- best stuff in the world.
well, it takes time. First of all focus on one area of your body first, such as your legs or back. Becoming flexible is way easier when you approach it bit by bit.
start gymnastics, do intense stretching (splits) everyday and go a little further everyday
Maybe u arent stretching right...and I know for sure you need to stretch BEFORE, not after.
