Flexibility and strength?!

Question: Flexibility and strength?
im a dancer and i am extremely flexible...but soo weak! i've heard people say that when you are flexible its hard to get strong (not saying it is impossible, just harder), because they kind of work against eachother, so how do i get the right balance? i dont want to lose any flexibility at all obviously. And do you have an explanaition of how strength and flexibility actually work, like tecnically? Also, what happens to your body when your sore from stretching, and what happens when your sore from working out. Okay, one last thing! if you dont feel sore after stretching or working out, does that mean that what you did wasnt affective at all?

You dont have do answer all the questions, just the ones you know:)

Answers:

Weight Control and Fitness are ongoing things. I'm probably a lot older than you and in my experiences with a multitude of crash diets and fitness programs. I have discovered that there is no single program which works for everybody, all the time. A program that focuses on inventory (weight) control using calorie input minus calorie output equals weight gain or loss is the best and most realistic approach. The only web site I've found that seems to understand this is old crow ink. You might want to try them out and see if one of their solutions works for you.
Best wishes
