Question: Will doing 40 squats 3 times a day help you butt to get bigger?
A friend of mine is trying to get a bigger rear area. She tired googling it and squats coming up. So she is deciding to do 40 squats a day 3 times a day? Good idea? or Bad Idea?

im a bit of a slf taught expert in the butt area she'll need three excercises 30 of each or as many as she can. the glutes have three sections you must work all three to get the best look . just doing squats will give the look of have dunut shaped cheeks instead of melon shaped cheeks . honestly the best excercises are done on the knees , this targets the butt almost exclusively and will allow for more repititions. do excercise that work in clock positions. for the gluteas minimus use excercises the work from the 9 and 3 o clock position ( as if i was behind you and you were on a clock face on all fours) it can be just a simple side lift. then for the 8 and 4 position use the same ones and then if your bent on squats go for it other wise use ankle weights keep doing leg raises(lifts). do not diet while doing this just be sure to get plenty of protien and give your self a month to start to see a difference . try a before and after pic and only look once a month.
