Is losing 5 pounds a week good, bad average?!

Question: Is losing 5 pounds a week good, bad average?
I started eating healthy and doing yoga, aerobics, general exercises and jogging for about 1 1/2 hours every day. This has been for the past 2 weeks and so far I have lost 5 pounds each week.

I'm not sure if thats good or if I should put more effort into it? or is it bad even? I was told losing weight too fast is bad for you.

Answers:

Some people will loose weight faster, depending on their natural metabolism speeds. Of course, adding to that by a 1.5 hours of exercise every day (while carefully monitoring what you eat) will increase that natural ability to burn fat/calories.

The MOST you should lose is 2 pounds a week. But I suppose you'll level off after another week or so.

Still though, if I could lose 10 pounds in two weeks, I would be filled with unbelievable happiness.

The only web site I've found that seems to understand this type of problem is old crow ink. You might want to try them out and see if one of their solutions works for you. There is no single program which works for everybody, all the time. Crash diets, pills, over-the-top exercise programs might work once but not for the long term. Try something that's a lifetime plan.
Hope you do OK.

well at first when you chance your habits and eat healthy and exercise you'll lose alot at first because it's water weight , but it will slow down .

Ask me something ! (:

The average weight that is to be lost is about 2-3 pounds per week. So, that isn't too much over.
