Question: How much weight will i lose?
If i cut out dinner and lunch and instead have two healthy snacks?
Im 5ft5 and weight 140lbs but i figure skate 5x a week.
How much will i lose in a week or 2?

140 isn't all too bad at 5ft5, but never starve yourself, you will get NOWHERE. You'll need certain nutrients and such in your daily diets, having 3 meals of the day isn't starving yourself, it's getting what you need on a daily basis to survive healthily. If figure skating is all you do to get out, and it doesn't take up your whole day, then go outside more. I'm assuming you're a minor, or under 18. Hang out with friends, get into dancing, and if you are 12-15 (or younger), don't stress out TOO much, I look down upon myself a lot, so I know how it is, don't think I don't, but I know deep down that I overreact all the time, as you probably do. If you're a kid, go outside and do what you do now, and if you overeat, cut it down some, but not to the point of losing lunch and dinner, that's stupid. If you get the food cravings, then drink 1-3 tall glasses of water, until full to the point where you won't want to sneak that extra honey bun. And by 'doing what you do now' I mean, go outside, run around, hang out with friends, do all that normal stuff, but continue your figure skating. Don't ruin your life by exercising 24/7 if you're a kid. If you are an adult, squeeze it into your schedule, but don't overdo it. Good luck, I hope you reach your goal, I desperately hope I do. ;)



it's impossible for anyone to answer how much weight you'll lose because it all depend on your overall calorie intake for the day.

let's say your lunch and dinner add up to be 1,400 calories. If you substitute two healthy snacks that add up to 600 calories, then you'll be -800 calories for the day.

3500 calories of fat is one pound.

Combine that with our figure skating and you should be looking at 5-6lbs in two weeks



I've had a lot of experiences with fad diets, pills, and weightlifting programs. None of these worked for me for the long term. Usually a program that recognizes that a weight control program which is concerned with long term weight control is the only type of program that works. The only place I've found on the web that seems to recognize all this is old crow ink. Try them. One of their programs might work for you.

well if u cut out lunch n dinner n eat only 2 healthy snacks ur body will think ur straving to death n sum up all the fat to protect u from dying so tht idea is out firstly skate is good but what u really need to do is keep ur calories n watch the food u eat in check sign up for this calorie counter its very effective n free n u can count ur calories keep ur own journal put together ur own foods etc etc
