Diet plan for 14 year old?!


Question: Diet plan for 14 year old?
I am 14 years old with a height of 5'5'' and weighs around 140-145, I really want to loose weight D:
I just started high school so it is kinda...stressful haha...
So do you have any tips for me? and what to eat everyday?
Please don't post links for example weight watchers or Jenny Craig...
or tell me I am too young to care about my weight...

I am going to be completely honest with you.
Never starve yourself.
If it gets to a point where people notice you'll end up just having to go to a hospital and gaining it all back.
& you dont want to take that risk to loose all your hard work.

So lets diet the healthy way!
Everything in moderation! that is the best life style.
Dont eliminate anything from your diet.

Try to make 1/2 of your grains 100% whole, but dont stress over it if you dont.

Here's a good plan for a 14 year old girl:

Breakfast: make a smoothie the night before and have it ready to eat in the morning.
greek yogurt-has double the protein
berries- strawberries, blueberries, rasberries, blackberries, etc.
& you can even add some banana.
and add a little orange juice.

Or have lowfat yogurt w/ granola or some nuts with fresh fruit.

if you have time to cook breakfast make some eggwhites(or normal eggs, just not everyday) add any veggies you like, or low fat cheese. even add some whole grain toast w/ butter or try spreading avocado.

Lunch: A lean meat sandwich. Such as a turkey sandwhich with cheese. ( remember if the cheese is processed like some american kinds dont eat it all the time try to get some natural cheddar or another nice cut). whole grain bread w/ any veggies you'd like. & carrot sticks/celery w/ low cal ranch or have a dark chocolate oatmeal cookie, or oatmeal raisin ( remember everything in moderation, its fine to eat a treat a few times a week. I just love oatmeal cookies and they add extra health benefits so give them a try and see if they live up to your favorite treat(: )

Snack: Teenagers are usually starving after school so make it a filling snack.
Do an apple and a low fat cheese stick or and apple and organic peanut butter.

Dinner: eat whatever your family makes. your family will think its abnormal for you not too.
Just try not to over eat. but enjoy this meal.

Night snack: popcorn, pretzels, nuts, hard boiled eggs, trail mix, parfait, yogurt(freeze yogurt and pretend its ice cream).


Make sure you get your fluids in as well, a bunch of water or 100% fruit juice, or low fat milk are the best choices!

Hi! I also am 14 years old! I am 5'6 and weigh like 145-150 lbs and looking to lose weight! Basically what I am doing is eating around 1200 calories a day and trying to get some excersize at least once a day. Some things I do are going to the gym and running on a treadmill, weight training, going for a jog/walk out side, and even just doing some crunches at home. I am hoping to lose 20 lbs by summertime. Well, when i was fourteen i really wanted to lose weight. I searched the web for stuff but no luck, i asked everybody but still no luck. So, i believe that maybe you should start a eating schedule. Maybe three meals a day. Such as, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, maybe even try to watch what your eating. The less calories in it, the better it is to eat. Maybe, even going to the gym once a week, or work out at home. I really hope i helped. All teenagers do. (:



Health and Fitness are ongoing things. At my age I've had a lot of experiences with crash weight loss and fitness programs. I have discovered that no single solution works for all the time for everybody. A program that focuses on long term weight control is the most realistic approach. The only web site I've found that seems to understand this is old crow ink. Try them. One of their programs might work for you.

You're not to lose the weight, but USE the weight you've got and turn it into muscle.

You are still in grow mode, so just eat healthy and SWIM.

Swimming is the best way to get fit.
