Is THIS way okay for dinner?!


Question: Is THIS way okay for dinner?
I stay up til 3 AM. I usually sleep all day (homeschooled). So, if I just eat dinner (around 7 PM) would that be okay? I like to eat around dinner time but no other time of day. I hate eating 5-6 small meals a day, and I hate eating 3 big meals a day. I just like one medium meal, and then like staying up for another 8 hours, then sleeping. Is that okay?

Answers:

No - you are slowly starving your body. You need to eat at least 3 times a day. Our bodies are designed to use food as fuel so that you will have the energy to do the things you do. Doesn't matter that you are home schooled - you should really go to sleep at a more normal time, sleep for 8 hours or so, and then get up and get active. There's nothing that says you have to eat 3 big meals a day... you can have a banana, or some toast & jam with some milk or tea. Lunch doesn't have to be a big meal either but it can be if you want - that way you have all afternoon until dinner to burn that fuel. Eat a light meal for dinner if you want - digestion takes typically an hour or two, so staying up for 8 hours after you eat is not making a difference.

Start eating smarter and go to bed earlier. Trust me - you will probably feel better than you do today.



You are suppose to eat every 2-4 hours that your body is awake and functioning. so no i wouldnt suggest that. ahha. if you sleep all day, your dinner is kind of like your breakfast, so go from there at 10 have your lunch, and at 1 have your breakfast. or give or take w/ the times and add some snacks.

I eat this way when im on holiday breaks. haha.

That is fine, it doesn't sound like you exercise too much. The bottom line is are you getting the nutrients you need - green vegetables, lean protein and healthy starches (sweet potatoes) etc? The food and meals themselves aren't the most important thing. Its the actual nutrients that enzymes in your body break down and process... you truly are what you eat.



Depends how your body works really.

Like say, people lose weight but certain foods and exercise while others dont.

Yeah i dont see why not unless it might affect your health in future.

well it's kinder good when you start eating at 7pm but the think is that when you stay up that late you well want to eat more and that well make you come a little fat
