How can a 14 year old loose weight?!


Question: How can a 14 year old loose weight?
I'm 14, and want to loose around 20 pounds. Maybe even more. I weigh about 180-200 pounds (my scale is broken, so I keep getting different answers). I'm a female. I don't appear fat, so I guess its evenly distrubuted, but I want to loose some weight, just to be healthy.

I'm not much of a runner or anything. I dont like exercising like that. i'm okay with doing stretches and dances and stuff. It it helps any, I have a wii, and the wii sports. Should I buy other wii fitness games?

Just any advice you can give me would help soo much. Thank you!

If you want to lose weight you should try and find some sort of cardiovascular exercise that you can enjoy. Go on long walks, swim, or bike. You have to eat healthy and discipline yourself to control what you put in your system. My biggest piece of advice would be to change your mindset. You can get as much advice as you want but the motivation has to come from you.



How about having fun with exercise. The best way to get motivated is to do exercise that is FUN and with other people:)

Well, it depends on your height if that's a healthy weight. But I've heard Zumba is a really awesome game/exercise program. And maybe you could play a sport at your school, even dance!
