Question: How do I lose 20 pounds in five months?
Hi, so I am 15 (16 in may) and I really need to lose some weight. My body disgusts me, I have SO much stomach fat and my thighs are really big and all in all, I just want a healthier lifestyle. I am about 5'3" and weigh 120 pounds. I want to get down to 100 lbs by August when my junior year starts. Losing the weight in less than five months would be great too, but 5 months is the longest I have. So do you have any suggestions?

120lbs = approx 8 and a half stone if I'm not mistaken. That's not fat! You're very lucky to be that size,



It isn't that hard to lose that much weight in that length of time. Start going to the gym, or at least doing as much exercise as you possibly can, whenever you can. If you have dogs, start taking them on walks twice a day, it'll be a workout for you, too. Start eating healthier, too. Don't become too obsessed with it, but try to count your calory intake and make sure you are at a healthy amount.



Hey! :-) Losing weight takes time. If you loose weight to quick, you will eventually gain it all back. I encourage you to loose 2-3 pounds a week. That is the healthiest way to loose the weight,
and you can keep it off.
Foods to eat: grilled chicken, turkey burgers, tuna, eat lots of vegetables and fruits.
Dont eat to much carbs. If you do eat carbs, make sure they are whole grain! wheat! so healthy for you and for your colon! Drink lots of water! and vitamins daily!
Try and stay active through out the day. and for your workout- 1-2 hours intense cardio, make sure you sweat a whole lot! you'll deffinelty loose weight!

Stay motivated every day. You can do it! Be patient.
Don't look at this as a diet, if you do you will fail. Diets DONT WORK! Look at this as a Lifestyle an everyday thing for the rest of your life. :)

good diet full of proteins and fruits and veggies, and moderate exercise about 3-4 times a week. don't over do it! and don't cut out all the foods you love. give yourself one day a week to eat whatever you like in moderation! also, drink TONS of water, but no more than 80 oz. a day, or else you'll flush out all your vitamins.

you need to lose about 4 pounds a month, which is about one pound a week. so if you cut out 500 calories a day from what you usually eat now, you'll lose a total of 3,500 calories a week, which equals one pound a week! good luck :)



I'm doing the same in fact and I've learned drinking lots of water no sodas, excercising alot doing card and just eating healthy really helps I've almost met my goal already. Goodluck(:



eat only vegetables. You can eat until you are full (not stuffed) and still lose weight.
