i'm 15, 5'8 and 114 pounds.

is this too much? will i gain weight? i think its around 1100 calories..? help!!

Answers:

If a nutritionist is recommending this, it's probably worth following. After looking at the list you provided, it looks to be comprised of natural foods, and lean meat choices.

Understand that natural foods like this can be eaten more freely than high-calorie, highly processed items. I will take 400 calories from lean chicken and veggies over 150 calories from a candy bar any day of the week.

1100 calories will not make you gain weight. I would recommend around 1,500, personally, considering your height. This is a great diet. No worries!

*** please don't listen to these people who are trying to change this. A nutritionist is a professional who is able to examine specific aspects of your health and prescribe things that are ideal for your particular situation. Everyone's body is radically different, and having a professional, and personal direction from some like this is far more valueable than someone a thousand miles away with no direct knowledge of your body's needs.

Fitness and diet guru!

It may seem like a lot for you, but being in your condition, I think that this is very good and healthy for you. At first I was thinking that it was a lot of food also! But then I read that you are recovering from an ED. Your body really needs this nutrition right now, so I think that you should listen to your nutritionist. This won't go on forever, so you could excercise when you're better. I hope you recover very soon!

1100 calories, is usually a deficit meaning your not getting enough calories, and will thus lose body mass(muscle, fat, and other organic tissue). I would never recommend going that low in calories especially at 15 years old

i weight the same and im shorter then you and people still say i need to gain weight. thats all considerably healty food so dont worry too much about it.

You are eating not too much but it is slight high try to reduce it

eat

Are these organic? If there not I wouldn't trust him.

First of all, get rid of the multigrain muffin because that is a lot of sugar. The cream cheese and jelly are also a lot of carbs and sugar. No fat free hot coco either. Get rid of the granola bar.

Sugar is a killer, the multigrain bread is BAD for you. Only a few kinds of bread are good for you. Most breads contain high amounts of sugar and carbs and will raise your diabetes and risk of heart disease.

Remember NO SOY because it causes infertility.

INSTEAD, have a diet similar to this:

MORE PROTEIN!!!!! PROTEIN COMES FIRST! THEN FRUITS AND VEGETABLES. THEN BREAD.

organic eggs
organic meat
organic fruits
organic vegetables
organic nuts
organic raw milk
well water or fresh water
organic nuts

Get rid of ALL the processed food and save your money for organic food. Some people say that the only way to get rid of mood, depression, memory problems, sickness, disease it to get rid of the high amounts of sugar and follow a natural meat and plant based diet.
