Question: How many days in a row should I workout before resting?
Answers:

I work out every other day. Of course, it depends on how you work out. Cardio should be done more often then weight lifting. A good rule of thumb is to work out every other day. Of course, if you do not feel tired, weak, or sore, there is really no harm in pushing yourself.

The most important thing is listening to your body. If you need to take a day off, you will know it.



Muscles need a day for recovery and the chance to rebuild. Work different muscles every other day. If you don't give your muscles a day of rest, they can't rebuild and improve from the workout.
