Question: I need to lose 15-20 lbs by Spring Break which is 6 weeks away. Help!?
I've been struggling with my weight for a few months now and have managed to lose 10-15 lbs. This Spring Break is really important to me and I need to lose this weight fast! Anything you can do to help would be fantastic(:
I am 5'2, 145 lbs. I do cardio every day for about 30 minutes.

Answers:

Do you drink water? A lot of the weight you may have might be water weight.When I drank water regularly I lose 2 inches off my weight and chest. Without exercise. It also cleans your system to make you healthier and you lose that bloatness around your stomach.

Your cardio for 30 mins is fine, but how fast do you go? If you do 30 mins of cardio and keep your heart rate constant for let's say, 10 mins then have a 1 min break then 10 mins of constant workout, that is better than just jogging for like 5 miles an hour.

I suggest getting weight bands for wrist and ankles. It'll make you toned up WHILE doing your cardio and you lose more calories with the weights on you.

Building a little muscle isn't too bad either. Sure, muscle weights more than fat but don't concentrate on that, in the end it's how you look anyway lol. But more muscle = more calories lost. Even if you'd have more muscle, you'd lose slightly more calories than the person who has no muscles at all.

And well.. the good ole eat fruits, veggies, blah blah. No high fructose corn syrup (read ingredients), no cookies and junk.

I suggest looking into Kashi foods, they are good for breakfast and snacks. For dinner if you don't want to make anything you could always buy Purdue brand chicken. They are great compared to others who make fake meat and load them up with preservatives.



Throught the years I seen seen and heard alot of people complaining that it's hard to lose weight.A friend of mine was having the same problem,I bet almost if not the same as you are having he wasn't getting results,but now that he came across the diet solution he's been doing great,with excellent results.Maybe this is something for you.
