Have i eaten healthily today?!


Question: Have i eaten healthily today?
I have eaten...
shredded wheat cereal with milk and banana with orange juice
tuna/hard boiled egg salad with fresh bread (no butter-was amazing on its own! lol)
latte
baked potato with chili
whole wheat pretzels (about 20g or so?)
apple and an orange
slice of that nice bread again lol
not trying to lose weight just want to eat right..are these healthy nutritious foods? thanks xx

The fact that you're switching to whole wheat is a great start. Try to drink lots of water all the time since it naturally cleanses your body of toxins. Try to even out your consumption of carbohydrates (breads, cereals, potatoes) with some protein (meats, beans, nuts, eggs). Your diet is composed of healthy and nutritious foods but at the same time too much of one thing and not enough of another thing can make your daily diet not healthy or nutritious. Also try eating more vegetables. If you don't want to gain weight (not necessarily want to lose weight) some good legumes to snack on are lettuce and celery. They give you more minerals, fiber, and water in your system and at the same time reduces risks of certain diseases.

The fish is an excellent source of protein,
bread and shredded wheat are good for carbohydrates,
5 portions of fruit or veg

But dont forget the occasional treat!!! :P



Yes. You need to eat fruit but also eat foods with protein. Dairy products are also good.
