Question: How to lose weight as a teen? not too much..?
hey so i am a 14 year old teen and im a little heavier than i wish i was..i have a little to much fat on my thighs and stomach. i want to find an easy way to lose that by summer..but i LOVE sweets..its s hard to do..any suggestions?

Hey, I'm a model, and I know how hard it is to lose weight. I've found a few tricks that have helped me. For one you need A LOT of cardio....running, walking, jogging, swimming...that kind of thing burns major fat, and will help you lose weight fast. So if you try to incorporate a run in every morning or night or both...you will see the weight come off. Also dont even begin to starve yourself....you will lose weight at first but then pack it on double and also slow your metabolism which is a big no no! Also eat anything green, and lots of fruit. Drink TONS of water, that also helps you to lose weight. One more really big tip is constantly eating small meals...so like a small snack of peanuts or yogurt like as often as you can, keeps the metabolism going so you continue to burn fat. As long as you workout everyday, and get that cardio in, you wont have to worrry too much about what you eat, you're still young :) Good luck babe <3



Don't diet! This doesn't mean don't loose wait, but dieting, like changing your eating habits immediately, can be extremely dangerous for a teenager who is still growing. What you can do though is start eating you sweets in moderation, this way you enjoy them but don't gain to many calories. Try working out to a point that you are loosing enough calories to balance out the amount you are eating to a good level, but you are still growing, so not to the point that you aren't taking in any calories. Also, I don't know if you need this, but don't eat quickly, if you eat to quickly then it all kinda enters your body at once and your body has a more difficult time processing the food and digesting it well enough, causing you to gain more fat from the calories.
