Not fat and i have toned abs but i want a six pack what to do?!

Question: Not fat and i have toned abs but i want a six pack what to do?
People consider me a toothpick so dont think im fat. I do the p90x ab workouts. Ive tried them all and i think they are too easy now especially the ab core plus. I try to work out my abs every other day but sometimes i wait 2 days then do another workout. I have a light six pack but i want a defined one that really stands out. should i just continue doing p90x? The ab ripper still hurts bad when i do it but i think that my muscles have gotten used to doing that workout so thats why i havnt gone all the way to a six pack. Have any suggestions to build muscle and like i said i dont need to lose weight i am a cross country runner and i work out my whole body so i am pretty fit but i just dont have a ripped six pack yet. ive been going at it for like 3 months but its not what i want.

Will eating certain things help? If so then what?

Answers:

I'm in the same situation as you, and you just have to keep doing the workouts. Could also consume more protein especially after a workout, but other than that, it takes years to get a full six pack. good luck man!

Well, your probably close enough and you just need a really tough workout to get your abs to really pop, I find this workout very good as it really works the different sides of your core. Also be sure to be eating protein, fruit and veg and cut out all the processed rubbish

It sounds like you are almost there, but i think maybe your muscles have adapted and dont want to grow anymore. Try changing your workout routing for a few weeks and see if that helps. If its a body fat issue then you are going to need to work on that and maybe watch what you eat. You can check this website out for some more tips

Keep working on the ab exercises...that will make the ab muscles strong and defined...
but the truth is: all people have "ripped abs" hidden under body fat.
If you're looking to show those strong abs, you need to reduce body fat percentage via diet and exercise.
I know you're already working hard, but by losing those last 5 pounds...that 6 pack will show.
Stick with it!

Hey, I tell you awhile back I was in your shoes and if I had have to do another situp or crunch I think I might have cried but a guy a my gym told me the truth about abs and since then I've never been happier.

All the best, I hope it helps.

jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight
evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in
specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have
to work double on them. The best approach is this:
1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal
weight, lower for overweight).
2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.
an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it's parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add
to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat - if you have any - six
pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these
crunches - I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.
