i am asian. my upper body is really skinny, but my thighs and butt is big. how do you make it smaller like my upper body????????????help:)

Answers:

You can make your butt and thighs smaller but you can do it only to a limited extent. To reduce fat in your body, you have to get on a diet that will aid in losing the fat but you cannot reduce fat in a particular area. The reduction in fat occurs around the entire body when one looses weight so if you were to get on a proper diet to lose weight, your thighs and butt will still appear bigger in proportion to your upper body. What you can do it is lessen that appearance by building some size in the upper body through strength training. This will give the appearance that your upper is proportional to your lower body. Through diet and exercise, you can shape your body by loosing unwanted fat and increasing strength and size so your body looks more balance. Also, when you work out, you should de-emphasize building so much leg strength and focus on upper body development and make changes along the way to ensure you look more even.

If there is a tip to reducing body fat, try not eating starchy vegetables and grains (potatoes, rice, wheat, oatmeal, beans,) and eat more non-starchy vegetables (cabbage, kale, mustard greens, collard greens, spinach, broccoli, etc). Since you are asian, so it may be difficult to give up rice but try it for awhile and this may give you more motivation to not eat it. Also, eat meats like chicken, beef, pork, fish and if you can afford it, make sure these meats are sources where the animals is grass fed or pasture's raised. Make sure you are incorporating good fats like olive oil, coconut oil, palm, avocado and fats from almonds and walnuts. They provide good fats that the body needs and keep you from feeling so hungry after a meal.
