Question: I need to lose weight help!?
Hi,im liam!
I really need help losing weight,this is gonna be a bit of an essay so sorry!
Im 18,about 5ft 11,and weight about 12st 9lb!

I used to be anorexic and was about a 25 waist when i was 15 and ever since i got better i started piling on weight im now a 34waist!
I hate it!
tried pills,starving,being sick nothing works!

can you help,ive started today eating only breakfast,and dinner!
I walked my dog for about 1 hour,dance for about 30mins and drinking water constantly,if i do this everyday and take some diet pills that stop you feeling hungary,will i lose weight i wanna lose like 2stone!

Please help,im suffering from depression to but apparently you can ethier lose weight or gain weight..and looks like ive gain please help i cant live feeling so fat anymore,oh and my bmi is 24.7 so im 0.3 from being overweight help please!!! thanks xxx

Answers:

First: relax. Losing weight isn't something that's going to happen overnight. It won't happen in a week, either. You have to make lifestyle changes, and you have to take things a step at a time if you want to get anywhere.

Second: Eat better. Cut out fatty, salty, and sugary foods from your diet. Substitute things like white bread/pasta for whole wheat bread/pasta, whole milk for skim milk, red meat for turkey meat, red/white rice for brown rice, and etc. Eat three reasonably-portioned meals a day, and snack 1-2 times in between (on fruits, yogurts, vegetables, etc). It's actually recommended to people who are trying to lose weight to eat five times a day. Breakfast, Snack, Lunch, Snack, and then Dinner. Don't starve yourself-- you're not going to lose anything. Trust me.

Third: Exercise. It's good that you walk your dog for an hour, hopefully, every day. But maybe you can add a bit of jogging in the mix, too. Jog one minute, walk three, jog another minute, walk another three, and so on until the hour is up. And then in a week or two you can jog two minutes and walk three minutes. It'll take a while, but eventually you'll be able to jog for longer periods of times. And then you can move on to running. Just take things one step at a time.

Exercising also helps with depression, so there's that, too. Just eat healthier, exercise regularly, and you'll see that your mood and energy levels will improve.

DO NOT TAKE DIET PILLS. DO NOT. As soon as you stop taking them, you WILL gain the weight back. More often than not you gain it back DOUBLED.

If you want to take supplements, take omega-3 fish oil supplements. They're healthy, and they boost your metabolism naturally. I would not recommend anything else.

Tips:

-Drink lots of water.
-Drink one glass of water with lemon a day.
-Try to eat at least one or two grapefruits a week.
-Do not skip meals. Do not.
-Do not eat late, either. Try to eat dinner at least two hours before you go to sleep. If you're hungry in the middle of the night, snack on fruits and veggies.
-Make reasonable goals. Go at a reasonable pace. Don't rush things.
-Eat things like flaxseed and plums, which act like laxatives. They help you go to the bathroom.
-Keep a diet journal. Write down what you eat every day.
-Don't give up!

1.eat only steamed lean meats, eggs, healthy fruits ,vegetables, nuts, grains, & yogurt..2. drink only water, juice, & milk..3. walk or do some physical exercise 1-3 hour every day.


(btw, recommend you also to buy an electronic food steamer ((Very cheap)) and a rice cooker as makes it very easy to prepare healthy meals)



i know you think your fat, but your not. honestly, its your imagination. dont try pills and throwing up, thats reaallly bad for you just eat healthy and do exercise every night. seiously your not fat.
