Are these good snacks for someone on a diet?!

Question: Are these good snacks for someone on a diet?
I'm 16 on a diet.
Morning snack: Half banana and a few blueberries
Evening snack: 100% whole wheat cracker with a spoonful of peanut butter on top

Are these good/healthy snacks for a diet. And I was wondering if I should have the peanut butter or not, what can I use as an alternative?

Answers:

Very good :) or you could try adding nuts? they keep you full for quite a long time. Just a thought :)

Well, I look for high protein foods for working out, and peanut butter is a good source, but I avoid it because of it's fat content. I already eat a lot of meats so I don't need all the fat.

Then again, you shouldn't exclude all fat from your diet. Some fat is fine, just be careful how much of it you eat.

If you want my opinion, if you ate other foods with fat content on a certain day, skip the PB. If on that day you didn't have much fat content foods, have the peanut butter. :)

Those are good! A little peanut butter here and there is good.

Try low fat cottage cheese with your fruit to get some protein going. Do you like nuts? A little bit of those is also a good snack. You can mix them up with fruits.

I like dipping fruits in low-fat yogurt. And making frozen fruit drinks. I also like eating unsalted peanuts and pickles. Those no-sugar, low calorie cookies are also really yummy. I used to snack on them every few days and I still lots a lot of weight. And whole wheat crackers dipped in warm skim milk :)

cut out the peanut butter, and eat a whole banana. a banana is a fruit wtf, it can't make you fat. if it can, LOL AT YOUR UNBELIEVABLY SLOW METABOLISM

Peanut butter is a great source of protein that you need in a diet, so if you are not eating much meat, then these are all great ideas for snacks.
