How can I get put on some muscle using only body weight exercises?!
Question: How can I get put on some muscle using only body weight exercises?
I am 6' 150 male
What is a work out I can do with a pull up bar and things such as dips, squats, push ups...
I want to get extremely toned muscle and get a little bigger but I do not want to be a body builder really bulky
I just want to get jacked..
Can you provide a workout with those types of things?
Answers:
You want to be getting your metabolism right up by doing say 3 exercises in a row going hard before taking a rest. This work out here will suit you as it involves pull-ups and press-ups as well as core and leg work, you just do as many reps as you can and they should improve week to week

You need to invest in a dumbbell set, and progress to a barbell when the dumbbells get easier. Squats, lunges, push ups, pull ups, and myotatic crunches will strengthen the muscles, but they will not add muscle mass. They are limited by your body weight. You can get a dumbbell and barbell set, 140 pounds combined, for less than $100. I also need to recommend a healthy diet to facilitate weight loss, as this is how you will gain defined, or "toned" muscle structure.
