I was thinking about going on the Juice Master plan, does it work?!

Question: I was thinking about going on the Juice Master plan, does it work?
I just wanted to know if anyone has tried this diet as it looks like a really good cleanse. I've kinda overdone it on the junk food and alcohol as of late and want to detox before I start dieting properly and going back to the gym! Has anyone done this one? And was there any weight loss or side effects?

Answers:

Whoa! Is that spam or what?
Cleansing has absolutely no medical benefit and is in fact harmful to the digestive system. Old science from the late 1800's when meat was the main food and people were constipated all the time. Not enough fruit and vegetables.
There is no build up of bad plaque or sludge in a normal, reasonably healthy system.
If this was the case we would have people dying left and right from malnutrition since their bodies couldn't absorb nutrients.
Since the majority of the water from food and what we drink is reabsorbed through the colon, if our colons were clogged we would all be walking around looking like sponges right?
Detoxing is ridding the system - liver, kidneys, and intestines of toxins both internal and environmental. Additionally, many toxins are stored in our fat cells so in order to truly "detox", you need to lose excess body fat as well to fully detox.
We "cleanse and detox" naturally 24 hours a day through respiration, sweat, liver, and kidneys.
We can help by eating a healthy diet with minimal added sugar and salt. Lots of fresh fruit, vegetables, whole grain foods, beans, peas, and brown rice keep a system as healthy as it can be.
Minimal alcohol, caffeine, soda. Most fruit juice has as much sugar in it as soda!
Read food labels. If you can't pronounce it, don't put it in your body.
Cleanses actually flush out the beneficial bacteria and enzymes in the digestive system.
And if you do one of these cleanses, they never mention the gas and bloating as your body rebuilds the healthy bacteria population.
Spend your money in the produce department instead of giving it away.
Good luck.

Weight Control and Fitness are ongoing things. I'm probably a lot older than you and in my experiences with a multitude of crash diets and fitness programs. I have discovered that there is no single program which works for everybody, all the time. A program that focuses on inventory (weight) control using calorie input minus calorie output equals weight gain or loss is the best and most realistic approach. The only web site I've found that seems to understand this is old crow ink. You might want to try them out and see if one of their solutions works for you.
Best wishes

a diet based on juice??? juice is already not good for you so an entire diet on it cant do any good.
