Is the only way to become thin, dieting?!
Question: Is the only way to become thin, dieting?
I can skimp on eating for about a day & the next day is a catasrophe & I end up eating like I would for two days combined for the rest of the week & end up gaining even more weight.
I'm fourteen, about to be fifteen in June. & I've been doing this since I turned thirteen, by the time I'm fifteen I want to break out of these bad habits.
I want to be thin, able to indulge into whatever I want (not all the time , but once in a while as a treat) & to be healthy. Something I can stick to, these little crash diets aren't helping me at all, they're making me gain more & more.
btwdubs, I'm about 119 pounds & 5'1.
I'm usually around 108.
over the summer I was 102.5 & I did it so effortly.
I didn't even exercise over the summer, so this weight gain is really recent.
HELP.

It seems as though you are binging. It's better to spread your food intake throughout the day (easier said than done). I would assume you are eating breakfast, lunch and dinner. Are you having any snacks? What types of exercising are you doing? I recently lost 50# in 2.5 years, by spreading my meals out, having snacks in-between and making sure I don't skip breakfast. I have been working out for 2 hours daily for most of my life. I would recommend working out daily as well, if you haven't yet started. Most likely you maintained your weight during the summer because you were more active and eating less. I also keep a food diary to keep my eating habits in check. Good Luck.
