Are daily caloric needs calculators actually accurate?!
Question: Are daily caloric needs calculators actually accurate?
Answers:
They are generally accurate, but I wouldn't fully depend on them.
Running 5 miles a week is pretty good, just add those calories you burned by doing that to your 'daily calories burned' then that would mean you lost ____ calories in a week.
Keep in mind, 3500 calories is one pound.
Good luck.
well, how many calories/day do you eat? are you maintaining? go off that and compare. if you're eating around 2000 calories a day and maintaining, than it's accurate. the daily caloric needs calculators are a general average for a body of the specified size, but everyone's body metabolizes energy differently.

Treat high-calorie foods as jewels in the crown. Make a spoonful of ice cream the jewel and a bowl of fruit the crown. Cut down on the chips by pairing each bite with lots of chunky, filling fresh salsa
I think they are mostly accurate :]
