Question: What are some tips on gaining weight in a healthy way?
I'm Canadian, don't eat very much meat, just got over the flu so I don't have much of an apatite lately.
So my mom last night was talking to me about how when I came back from California (a few years ago), I dyed my hair black, I was beautiful and had a full nice ***. (I know creepy) All she was saying was that I had a nice weight to me and now I'm skin and bones. I was 130lbs (5'7) and now I'm 104lbs (5'7). I've been trying my hardest but I'm still not gaining much weight.

What are a few everyday simple things I can do on a daily basis for me to start gaining weight. Yes I do, do a lot of exorcise in a day. My mom is a single mother, so is my sister a single mother, so I basically fill my own roll of a father and my nieces father. I help out a lot, run errands, I go to school, I go to work..

Answers:

Increase your calorie intake to 2000 by eating protein-rich foods. Do some weight-lifting as well to increase your muscle mass. If you don't have dumbbells at home, you can try lifting your nieces when you play with them.



Eat more calories, just ones in healthy forms. Sure, you would gain weight by milk shakes and other not- so- healthy things. But instead, try avocados, olives, nuts-- things that are higher in calories but give you good energy and nutrients for your body instead of saturated fats.



You should decrease your activity and increase your carb intake and also increase your food that contains higher fat content
