Which scale is more accurate for weight?!

Question: Which scale is more accurate for weight?
This has been bugging me for years now,but I think it was possible 2009 when I went to the doctors, and they weighed me and the scale said I was 111 pounds,or 117 pounds..but when I went to the gym last year,it said I weighed 154 pounds..I can't really tell a difference, but I do know though that I have gained some weight. I'm wondering..which scale is accurate? I don't know if I even weighed myself right at the gym,but I'm guessing that's right..I'm possibly 5'2,and 17 years old..I really don't know how much I weigh today, but just to be clear lol:I can look down and see my toes, perfectly fine..but when I put my hand on my hip,my hand doesn't reach the end of my stomach..if that makes sense. I've gained weight in my face and arms definitely, but as for my stomach..I don't know.
Thanx

Answers:

The mirror. Scales and BMI are absolute crap. Go by measurements and how you look and feel.

the more accurate kind of scale is the kind where you have to move two weights in front of you to the left and to the right to balance out the bar that theyre resting on. but i dont see how the difference of the scales could be 40 pounds... maybe you did gain a bit of weight. maybe you shouldnt blame the scales. haha
