What can you put in tuna thats healthy?!
Question: What can you put in tuna thats healthy?
Answers:
Hard-boiled eggs, celery, tomato, cucumber, beans, mushrooms, corn, anything you like. You can even sprinkle it with some lemon juice if it suits you. But the most important thing is that you can put any vegetables you like along with some cheese...or something like that :)
Sometimes I like to make my tuna salad with plain greek yogurt or low fat cottage cheese instead of mayo. I also add some salt/pepper, chopped celery or onion, and some raisins (sounds weird, but the raisins add a sweetness that's so good!) Have on some toasted wheat bread with maybe a sliced tomato, and you're good to go!
In most supermarkets you can get a small container of celery and green peppers which you can add. also add no salt but a little black pepper and also very little mayo. I usually use toast. Enjoy
I have a chefs certificate.
You could try:
Chives
Celery
Low-Fat Mayonnaise
Garlic
Carrots
Or try making your own tuna salad by combining some of these!
