Should I exercise if my muscles are sore or rest?!
Question: Should I exercise if my muscles are sore or rest?
Answers:
Resting and getting good sleep is the real key to building muscle. When you rest you rebuild and repair your torn muscles with proteins, building upon your already existing muscle. If you do not rest your body cannot properly repair itself and you will not get the results you are wanting. Im not saying to get lazy but when you have a hard day at the gym and are sore, rest yourself the next day... take one off!!
My experiences and reading lots of muscle & fitness
This happened to me when I first began eating healthy and exercising more so I just toned the workouts down a little but still walked but at a much slower pace. Just tone things down a little but don't stop as you need to keep up the endurance you have achieved. Good luck.....:)
personal experience
keep working out but tone it down a little bit they are going to hurt for a couple of days just make sure you warm up before you start the intense work out or you can pull a muscle..after a few minutes they wont hurt while youre working out unless you go crazy.
You gain the most muscle when you are sore and you work out, but you don't want to over work. If you do go work out i would stretch a lot before and after the work out for your risk of pulling a muscle is higher. But resting is also fine, you don't have to work out every single day!
Just do gentle stretching, nothing too jerky or strenuous. Go on a little walk first, just to loosen the muscles up a bit.
And next time, after a big heavy workout, take a hot bath. The heat will help your muscles, and prevent some of those aches.
For all exercise, you must rest between excercise days, to give your body a chance to rebuild. Don't exercise again until you are not sore. You will only tear down what your body is trying to rebuild and mend.
if the yoga teacher is 50 and looks 30?
we might consider the health benefits for ourselves then.
