Which is more important: Strength or Size of muscles?!


Question: Which is more important: Strength or Size of muscles?
I want big muscles, but I also want to be really strong... if I'm a beginner at weightlifting, should I focus on my strength first or focus on getting bulked up.

Answers:

Strength, all the way. Strength will eventually get you the toned, muscular look you want, but there will actually be some force behind that. Also, enjoy this phase where you're really strong, but not muscular looking; It's pretty fun to surprise people with strength :)



strength is always better... performance is relied on by strength...
without strong muscles they cannot get bigger...

and being strong will help u trian harder and get cut and the desired results u want...
just work hard train for 40-60 mins and eat one gram of protein for each pound u weigh

train each muscle once a week.

You don't want to be a powerlifter though, then your stomach will get big too!!!
i think you want the athleitc look.
Work on the compound exercises.

Be patient and read up on the early Mr.Olympias.
