How to feel comfortable in your own skin? ?!

Question: How to feel comfortable in your own skin? ?
I'm 16, 5'2" and I weigh 128lb. I never feel comfortable in my own skin because I always compare myself to petite, skinny, attractive girls. My friends say I shouldn't worry too much, because I'm still attractive, I just have a little extra fat on me. I can't wear shorts or tight tops either cause I'm afraid people will judge me based on appearance. Does anybody know a way for me to feel comfortable in my own skin? Should I be worried about my weight? And I'm also not lazy, I do go to gym a few times a week to work on cardio, and I do a pilates class. Thanks in advance :)

Answers:

No I don't think you should be worried about your weight. Everyone has something that they don't like about their body. If you're exercising then I'd pat yourself on the back! A lot of people don't have the guts to work out every week. I feel comfortable in my own skin and I'm on the short side, 18 and wear glasses. Don't worry so much about trying to compare yourself to other girls. It's a waste of your time and energy. Try to celebrate things you've done good, like doing a mile or two in a day or getting a good grade on a test or homework assignment. If you feel comfortable in your skin others will see this and not care about what you look like. If they're true friends they'll have your back no matter what and see when you need them. Hope I helped!

Don't be worried (:
This might sound mean, but there will always be someone bigger than you are.
Now I'm not saying become friends with said people just to boost your confidence. But, you can just tell yourself that in your head. And no, don't become a ***** and make fun of them. Just keep it to yourself. I have the same problem, I always compare myself to little girls. And the matter of the fact is even when I lose the weight I want, I will never be like those girls. I'm just big-boned. And I will never be teeny like them. You just need to tell yourself that you are beautiful just the way you are. So stop comparing. because there is no one, NO ONE, else out there like you. (unless you have a twin) lol (:
