I wouldn't advise you to take it, herbalife work in both ways either to lose or gain weight if u don't use it correctly it may give you some unpleasant result.
Eg: if u drink and take the capsules u CANNOT eat at all otherwise it will gain you weight instead of u loosing it.i would rather exercise go to the gym and run at least 5km a day ad in no time u will see good results. Ah and remember that once u start taking it u can't stop if u do u might double the weight u r now and the product is not cheap at all.

took it for 3 months

"Herbalife is a multi-level marketing (sometimes called MLM or network marketing) company. In addition to profits from product sales, Herbalife distributors can earn additional commissions from sales by their 'downline' distributors. Supporters of MLM contend this is a fair compensation system, whilst critics of MLM contend that it is similar to a pyramid scheme.[9] Critics also argue that the company does not make enough effort to curb abuses by individual distributors, though Herbalife has consistently denied such allegations.[10] Herbalife is a member of the Direct Selling Association in most countries in which it operates."

Your boyfriend is trying to make money off of you, don't do it it's a sucky diet anyways.

This will probably annoy everyone. Women in particular seem to fall prey to this idea that there are a variety of diets and some 'work' while others don't. There is only one diet that works: Consume less calories than you use. Nobody has any trouble believing that the opposite is true- dress it up any way you like, give it a brand name, believe any claims associated with it you want. If a commercial diet claims to be effective studies always show it is because participants are eating less than they burn off. There is no magic bullet- these supplement type products usually aren't subjected to the same double blind testing methods with a large sample group that medicines are and are therefore allowed to make claims that would otherwise be illegal. Read the claims on the packaging carefully- there is always a disclaimer,so don't be parted too easily from your cash. The boring 'less calories in thing' helped me lose seven stone (98lbs), and I actually saved money because I wasn't eating my weight in cake every day.

Congrats on taking the first step into your healthy lifestyle. All the areas you are talking will only trim down with healthy food choices. Machines are meant to focus/target muscle groups to tone the muscle or make it bigger/stronger. But by all means use the machines since it will increase your muscle and in return burn more calories which will help you lose burn fat. A sure way to get rid of does spots is a mix of strength training to get lean muscle and a good cardio routine to speed up the fat burning process. Hit me up at my youtube account with any questions and if you would like me to help you achieve your goal. Adios

Herbalife has weight management and nutrition products.
Depending on your need e.g. weight loss or gain, there is a program to follow.
You will be advised which products will help to achieve your goal and how to take them e.g. for weight loss, you substitute your breakfast and lunch with their shakes.

You all crack me up. Shame on you for saying such slanderous things about something you have never done or tried yourself.

First, Herbalife has been around for 30 years and is in 74 countries. They did $3.8 BILLION in sales in 2009. (final numbers are not out yet for 2010). IF the products didn't work, do you REALLY THINK they would do that much business? Especially after 30 years... you would think that someone would "catch on"... and we'd be out of business. Instead, we had a 25% INCREASE in the U.S. General Market alone.....

Yes, it is ALL about calories IN vs. calories OUT..... our Doctors and Medical Advisory Board teach us that all of the time... by the way, UCLA Center for Human Nutrition Director, Dr. David Heber is the Chairman of the Scientific and Nutrition Advisory Boards at Herbalife International. Herbalife is a WAY to help achieve that. My wife went from a size 12 to a 6. My friend Candace lost 28 pounds and went from size 11 to a 3.

Funny, how many times are you watching football, baseball or any other sport? Do you talk bad about that? For example: A guy plays baseball, bats .300 and is paid $6 Million a year.... Einstein, that is OUT... 7 times out of 10...... 7 times out of 10.... OUT.. paid $6 million a year...

Oh, by the way, I have helped people lose Thousands of pounds in my town alone..... oh, and I have been eating it for 16 years......

I understand, what you're not UP on you're DOWN on..... most people are like that..

Do something positive today & every day,

Chris

yes, it is a way of getting fools to pay money. It doesn't do any harm but makes no difference.

be cleverer than your boyfriend, learn about nutrition.

I'm all for making money but I could never stoop so low as to sell this stuff.

I have heard positive things about it, however it does get pricey.
I have a friend who is selling it, but I don't know that much about it either. I haven't really heard any negative feed back though.
Good luck with it all!

Do the ATkins - it works really well, and it isn't very expensive. No gimmicks. You eat real food - and don't eat garbage.

get a used copy of "New Diet Revolution" off of Amazon Books.
