I am a 17 year old female and i am 5 foot 7. How much should i weigh? full points for best answer :)

Weight is really secondary to your muscle-to-fat ratio, which is the real indicator or health and a lean body.

People can weigh the same or even more than others of the same height/build and still appear more lean and sculptured, because they have a lower body fat % ratio & greater muscle %. That is because muscle weighs more than fat at the same dimensional volume.

You can be at your "ideal weight" and still appear flabby and unhealthy (known as skinny obesity), because your body % fat ratio is high (usually people who don't work out and/or follow unhealthy diet plans fall into this category).



Years ago, I read that a medium-boned girl five feet tall should weigh 100 pounds and that one should add five pounds for every additional inch of height, add five for big bones or subtract one for small ones, and then subtract another pound for every year under age 18. Knowing yourself, you can do the arithmetic.



It depends on your bones
Wrap your thumb and middle finger around your wrist. if it doesn't touch you have a large bone structure meaning you should be about 160...more or less. if it touches you have a medium structure and you should weigh around 145-150 if it wraps around your wrist you should weigh around 140. If you are relatively slim, then 9st- 10st should be your weight. Muscle weighs more than fat so if you are the sporty type then don't be surprised if you are 10st+.
