Should I lose anymore weight?!


Question: Should I lose anymore weight?
Age/ gender: 14 girl
height: 5'10
weight: 164
heighest weigh; 178
frame: medium

as you can tell I have lost a little weight for the past 3 months, I know not a lot but at least it stayed off:)
should I loose a little bit
more? What is a good overall goal?

Answers:

Don't try to lose weight; you're too young for that. You have a large, athletic frame. The best thing you could do is to play sports and stay active. Some people can eat all they want, lay around, and look great. People built big like you (and me) will get fat if they don't exercise hard all the time. Just get into the habit of working out now, and it will seem relatively effortless to stay in shape when you are an adult.



what kind of body type are you if your body is tight and fit then no because my GF weighs 140 shes about 5'6 but shes as thine as a board shes just has an athletic body. If you don't have that body type and want it just run 4 times a week at a gym or out side for an hour or 2 or as long as you wont :P

PS 14 is the age to start good habits like working out 3-4 times a week cardio of course even if ur in good shape and eating healthy foods. find foods u like that can replace junk food and stuff like that



If you were older (18 or up), I'd say that losing more might be ok without getting unhealthy, but as you are 14 and still growing, I'd say no. Don't worry about it. The last thing you want to do is to stunt your growth.
