Question: How do you get abs? (for a 14 year old girl)?
hey i really wanna get abs (or at least a flat stomach). i am not fat just wanting to improve my image! anyone got any ideas or work outs?

Answers:

jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight
evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in
specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have
to work double on them. The best approach is this:
1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal
weight, lower for overweight).
2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.
an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it's parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add
to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat - if you have any - six
pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these
crunches - I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.



So getting six pack abs and a flat stomach both start the same way, you want to burn the body fat. Like what was said in another post, you don't get to select where that fat is burned, your body does. In order to get the flat stomach there are two things to consider, one is more important than the other in my experience.
1. Diet is going to be the key factor in getting a flat stomach, there are some tips that help. For me I eat every 2 hours all day long, this has helped me get the stomach I want. You are what you eat, be sure you eat lean meats, vegetables, good wholesome foods. Timing is important on foods, and even the time of the day. Eat your breads and such earlier on in the day. You still can cheat once a week, and when you do cheat eat that earlier in the day if you can. Always eat breakfast - and within one hour of waking up. Drink a lot of water, I drink 3 liters of water in a day.
2. The next item is full body workouts. To build good looking tone muscles I recommend full body, bodyweight workouts. There are some real killer ones out there. Search for TACFIT that is my favorite one.



Abs on females are so disgusting lol...

Anyway, you can't center weight loss on a certain area, so you would have to do something that burned calories and hope it came off on your belly and not your boobs ;) Sit ups work for strengthening the abdominal muscles, but they won't magically make any fat hiding those muscles disappear unless you're already fit or you have an easy time losing belly weight.



lie on your back , put your feet under a chair or any other bit of furniture and do sit ups, start off with 4 a day for a week then increase by two or four per week until you reach a comfortable number , you will find yourself quite healthy after a while



hey im 14 as well but im male just do 20 sit ups before bed and 20 in the morning and before you know it you wont be able to keep the boys away lol
