Question: Food that provides 2000 calories over a day?
Using a calorie calculator, i need 2100+ calories a day to start gaining weight. Im 170 cm (5'6) and around 50 kgs. im pretty skinny (more like bony).

How much food/what kind of food would give me LOTS of calories while not making me feel full and sick? i seem to have trouble eating lots of food, and i dont have a food disorder. Its like, im naturally skinny.

In order to gain weight (I had anorexia...) my parents made me drink this protein type drink every night called mutant mass, you can buy it at GNC or a place like that, but it packs 1060 calories in one go at it...


For high calorie foods try nuts or trailmixes. You can pack a lot of calories into a very small amount with those. Also, if you drink milk switch to whole. And if you don't already drinking sodas could help with weight gain, either diet or non-diet will help with weight gain surprisingly enough.

I'm anorexic so I do a lot of researching about weight gain/loss etc... I recovered once (except now im back on the downward cycle again...) and these helped with gaining weight. Good luck!



The food group highest in calories is fat so eat lots of fatty foods.
