Question: What's the difference between walking lunges, and regular lunges (where you stay in place)?
My trainer is making me do 3 sets, 12 reps of lunges with 7.5lb dumbbells. Then she's making me do walking lunges up and down the hall 3x..

What are the difference between them?

Answers:

when walking, you get a difference from the momentum and air friction of walking and it will work differently since your body wont think its natural to do squats in one place
its like running laps on a field vs a treadmill, you have air friction and the natural feeling of not being in one place at a time
