I want to lose weight.....? help?!!?!


Question: I want to lose weight.....? help?!!?
so i think im dealing with emotional eating..but i cant stop my cravings for sweets its like i gtta have them but at the same time im chubby and need to lose weight. i was thinking of jus eating fruits, yogurt, drink water, rice/beans,soups, a little special k and drink slim fast shakes. I would maybe take up zumba????? or what activity should i do? i dnt have a gym but i have been thinking of going to a sports complex so i can have access to these things. i want to start march 1st!! can someone plz give me advice on how to break BADDDD eating habits, work out and get active. i dnt feel myself at alllllllllllllllllllllllll

The only way to stop craving sweets and junk is to cut it out altogether. It takes about 2 weeks to stop the cravings then you really don't think about them as much. The diet you are planning is silly. It won't last. Just eat properly and cut the junk. If you're not feeling yourself and fat then why start march the 1st? start now. Fat people always say they will start at so and so date. You could put on another 7 pounds by then! if you're not happy then start now with healthy eating. You do not need a gym to exercise. You can brisk walk, run, skip, dance there is an endless amount of things you can do.



eat less move more ! ( that's what my husband says all the time I don't know where you live but walking is great for losing weight maybe buy a work out dvd , get one of those big balls you can do sit ups on and allot more only eating fruit sounds like it's gonna suck I would just eat less . try writing down what your eating



Start slowly try eatting 1 fruit a day for a week then next week try having whole wheat cereal with 1 apple a day start off slowly and put this into you're mind "I wanna loose weight I wanna loose"



It sound like you really want to change and that is a great start, and having a set date to start is also a good thing.
A family member was in the same situation and they succeeded by using the following plan and the weight loss happened from the end of the first week onwards.

This is it in a nutshell:

What you can eat:

Eat fruit, berries, nuts, lean meat,fish and vegetables,chicken turkey fish and eggs
Whenever you are craving sweet things eat fruit or berries or a piece or chicken or turkey
Drink only water or herbal tea

What you dont eat:

Cut out: all bread, grains,and flour, and anything containing flour or grains.
No potato except for sweet potato.
No packaged or convenience food, buy only from the fresh produce, veg/ fruit and meat counter
No diet bars or diet drinks or "diet food" or diet sodas
No cans or sodas, even diet soda or commercial beverages see above for what you can drink
Limit dairy products

Basically your are going to be on a hunter gatherer diet, or paleo diet.

I've seen it work - exercise is not part of this diet, but when you start eating better you will feell better and want to go out and exercise more.
