What would you be if you are extremely UNDER WEIGHT?!


Question: What would you be if you are extremely UNDER WEIGHT?
Let's say your like 30 lbs below 'OK' weight range.

What would you do?

EAT EAT and EAT, exercise a little- Gain Weight?

Or

Build muslce and try to gain 30lbs of lean muscle mass to come to the healthy range?

Why did you chose it? Which one is more healthy to do?

Answers:

If you're 30 pounds underweight, chances are you have an extremely fast metabolism. You're going to need to eat eat eat for either case. The only difference is how much and what type of workouts you do. That'll determine whether you put on fat or muscle.

Seeing as how I go to the gym 5-6 times a week, my answers a little biased, but I'd definately try to put on as much muscle as possible.

That was basically me in highschool, now in college I'm at 190 pounds at rougly 10% bf.



I used to be really underweight due to a really fast metabolism, and I just started working out while eating healthy foods, and still getting my carbs in. Of course the latter is healthier.
