What should I do at the gym?!


Question: What should I do at the gym?
Recently joined a gym and am looking to lose about 20-25 lbs by June. I think I can do it, the diet isn't giving me too much trouble.

I was wondering if someone could inform me on what to do at the gym. I have no issues going almost everyday, i should make it 5/7 days. I really like the elliptical machine but I don't really know what else to do?

My main concerns are my thighs, abs and waist. I would also like to just be more all around "toned"

Do crunches and sit ups for abs. For thighs you should run the treadmill and if what you want is to get them toned, grab weights and take big leaps in a walking motion. This exercise helps tone your thighs. The treadmill will be your best friend to lose the weight, while the weights will tone your body to your desire. This takes dedication and hard work to achieve.

What exercises/machines should I do?

All of them. If you are going 5 to 7 days a week, I'd say divide the week evenly among all the muscle groups. One day work on your thighs, the next on abs, the next on waist, so on and so forth.

This way all your muscle groups will receive training and you wont overwork/stress out any part of your body. (Don't just focus on your thighs, abs, and waist only to neglect your back and arms. By exercising your entire body, your body will learn to burn fat everywhere)
