Question: How can I lose weight fast?
I am getting pretty depressed about my weight. I'm 16, not particurlaly fat, but just a little fat here and there - particurlaly stomach and thighs. Can anyone please help me? Exercises? What can I eat? Drink whatever...

Start a weight lifting routine. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall. Even if you can't get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house. Invest in a good weight training book. The Dummies series actually has a good one.

In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Don't cut down to 1000 calories a day. That's stupid because then you won't have any energy to work out or anything. Just eat healthy foods and you should be fine. Stay around 1500 to 2000 calories that come from healthy foods.

I gave up sweets and desserts for lent when I was 14 and lost all the weight- wasn't fat but stocky. I went jogging for three miles about once or twice a week when I felt like it, or if I didn't want to (which you may not after week 1) I just jogged on the spot and watched TV when no one was in.

I'd recommend making a plan of what you'll eat each day and weigh yourself weekly. Remember to have a target weight and think of it as a game, not a challenge.

first off only drink water. nothing else, never drink your calories. second, lower your calories intake by a lot. dont eat over 1000 calories a day. that will help lose weight fast right there. never snack but if you must then make sure its a fruit or vegetable. eat very light foods like a salad insted of a sandwhich. try not using any dressing on your salad too. try to stay away from cheese. when you exercise you should power walk for an hour on a treadmill. powerwalking uses less of your energy so you can go longer and burn more calories. i burn close to 600 calories in an hour just by power walking at speed 4 incline 6. the elliptical is a great machine too. i burned 650cals in an hour.... intensity 10. i also do the 100 workout. you can youtube it. you can youtube tons of at home exercises in fact. then you can do them when you are watching your favorite tv shows. i like to start off with 300 squats. i also do a lot of crunches and lunges and push ups. i do at least 100 but they are the girly ones since im a girl and dont have much upper body strength. i also do planks both on my sides and just straight forward. soooo many things i do that could help you! id love to help any way i can

You dont really want to be loosing weight to quickly because you will just end up putting it back on when u finished dieting.
