I don't know what yoga the people above are doing. When I do it I sweat like hell and I'm pretty sure I burn a lot of calories.
It benefits strength in my arms and legs and especially my core. It benefits my flexibility and balance. And supposedly, it's really good for mental focus and relaxation. But I haven't really felt that part yet.
I would say flexibility and relaxation. You don't burn that many calories (60kg person-3cal/min, 80kg person 4cal/min, 100kg person 5cal/min).
ive dine it for a while and its a good way to relax and get more flexible
