Help with weight loss? HELP!?!

Question: Help with weight loss? HELP!?
Im 5'1 and weight about 135. I have a very curvy body and I tend to gain weight in my middle section. I need a good fitness regime to do. I am on a budget and mostly workout at home, but I need a good exercise video to do to help me burn the fat off. Any good suggestions.

I eat alot of protein and have either oatmeal or a whole wheat bagel for breakfast.

Answers:

You need cut out all white carbs like potatoes, bread, pasta, anything with flour. Replace it with lots of vegetables and beans and lentils. This is called the slow carb diet.

Also you need to eat at least 20 grams of protein within 30 minutes of waking up.

I have lost 20 lbs in 2 months on this and am tracking my progress here http://www.myfourhourbodydiary.com

For more info on the slow carb diet you can find it at Tim's blog here http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/blog/200…
or his book The 4-Hour Body here http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0307463…

For exercise you assume you are a girl, kettlebell swings would be perfect for you, you probably want to achieve a 0.7 waist to hip ratio http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waist-hip_r… and kettlebell swings are the perfect way to do that http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/blog/201…

Almost any fitness video will help if you follow it, but I will suggest Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. Its challenging for beginners but not so difficult that you will dread doing it!

Another suggestion, if you are like me and work out at home, and you want to burn fat, try skipping rope. A decent rope is super cheap (I like the "beaded" kind at $12 but its not important) and you can set a timer, skip rope like 2-3 minutes then rest 30-60 seconds, and see how may intervals you can do. Breaking it up into intervals is less boring than skipping 20 minutes straight, and much more "doable" for most people. Really it sounds a bit lame but you don't even really need a rope, just use a "phantom" rope, pretend and make a skipping rope motion, same thing to your body, won't know the difference! Of course play your music to add some entertainment. Way cheaper than a tread mill or elliptical trainer and extremely effective.

well first off im about 5'4 and weigh 96 pounds. i know this sounds like it would be hard for you to get to, vut i know you can do it! first, here is your dieting plan....

BEAKFAST: -fiber one yougurt (they sell it at walmart and it comes in a four pack from $1-$2)
-to fill you up, pix it with a bunch of fruit! and some stuff called flaxseed, it maked you full!

LUNCH: -whole weat toast with a slice of turkey
-a bunch of veggies (but not carrots cuz they have a ton of carbs and thats not good!!!)

DINNER:- this meal is what you want to eat, but no carbs after lunch!

SNACKS: fruits, veggies, and pretzles with no/alittle salt!

i know this sounds hard but you can add in a few healthy things here and there. if you eat the same things everyday, it will help your body loos weight cuz it will get used to it!!! go on run(for 2 mins) then walk(for 1 min) and repeat! change up exersise cuz you want to shock your body with exersice everday so that you will break a sweat more. for more questions, and to tell me how your doing, email purplesoda14@gmail.com!

i lost alot of weight from this

you can have a small meals everyday and do at least 100 sit up per day or go to the gym. that is how i get my abs and i'm only 14. :)

just download jillian micheals video off utorrent. Do it everyday for a month and you'll see results........trust me

Get off of here and go do cardio.. You're welcome

Try this site, it has lots of different workout videos that may come in handy:http://www.exercisetv.tv/workout-videos/… Also avoid sweets and such and if your male, you should eat about 1600 calories a day to lose weight but if your a girl eat about 1450 calories a day. Good luck! P.S. Just because you workout, doesn't mean you shouldn't go on a diet. Trust me I hated diets, so I only worked out and I didn't lose much until I started eating less and healthier. Oh and you should get the belly burner! It ranges from about ten to twenty dollars and what it is you just put it around your waist when you exercise and it helps you lose even more weight! Its very comfortable too
