Dead lifting question?!


Question: Dead lifting question?
So yesterday i pulled 455, I had been out of the gym for about 2 weeks and didn't have any pre workout nutrition, no belt or chalk btw.

If start lifting 3x a week for 2 weeks, use a belt, chalk, chuck Taylor's and have proper preworkout nutrition, could I pull 500?

Answers:

It depends. If it took you several years to be able to dead lift 455, then no. But if you just started lifting weights and somehow managed to lift 455 the first time, then you probably will be able to. Once you get that high in weights you cannot tack on 45lbs that quickly, most people aim for 5lb per week/month increases when they get that high.

Then again no one's body is the same as another. Just make sure you have the proper technique or else you can seriously injure you spine/back lifting that much weight improperly.
