What do you think about a popcorn diet? Would it work?!


Question: What do you think about a popcorn diet? Would it work?
I use an air popper and a little butter as well. no microwave!

I don't eat in the am, but I would have popcorn for lunch and a "sensible" dinner

No, it wouldn't work, no diet does. Trust me, I have tried them all. What works miracles is to change your lifestyle. You will need to start eating healthy foods, small meals divided through the day.Add some exercise, 15-30 minutes each day will make a huge difference already! You will have to do this for the rest of your life, that is why it is called lifestyle. Diets only last until you reached your certain "goal weight", and then you start eating the way you did before the diet again. The weight will climb back up and when you're unlucky, you will gain even more than you lost. This is called yoyo dieting, and it is VERY unhealthy.

Personal experience, lost 77lbs.



As long as you portion your food intake i think you can eat anything you want. But you have to eat a large breakfast a normal lunch and a small dinner cause eating food revs up your metabolism so its better to eat in the morning so eating a big meal before you go to sleep ends in weight gain.

When it comes to shedding the pounds, it really doesn't matter all THAT much WHAT you eat, it's really all a numbers game with the calories.

So, if you're eating less calories than you burn then you'll lose weight, whether it's popcorn or ice cream or broccoli or filet mignon, the only thing that matters is how many calories is in it.

Most popcorn is very low in nutrients even if you get some nutrients you won't get most others,don't use fad diets you'll end up weak and tired with reduced immune function.



Popcorn does not have enough protein or nutritional value (vitamins, minerals, etc.). You will probably get sick.



don't do it! my friend did it and was hospitalized for malnourishment!

not eating breakfast is the number one mistake people make when trying to lose weight.



There are a billion diets out there, just work out. Sorry to be blunt.
