Question: I'm a 14 year old, 140 pounds and about 5'6?asap?
I need help, like some motivation.I have gained weight since the summer and I'm starting to feel sluggish. I try to eat healthy but I fail most of the time.I don't know what to do anymore i eat pretty healthy meals but when it comes to snacking i pick unhealthy foods. Any tips? I can't stick to workout cause my schedule's just too busy and sports aren't really for me and I used to do basketball.Thanks for the help!

Your weight is actually health for your height. If you don't feel motivated and sluggish though that's not very good. Replacing unhealthy snacks with healthy ones can be pretty easy, but if there's anything unhealthy around that you love to eat it will be very difficult, so your family is going to help with that. Keep in mind that you can have 3 meals a day with a snack in between each meal so try to keep away from snacking more than twice a day. Even if it's not your thing exercise is a great way to improve energy, and also enriched foods can help with that too.



Well, 140lbs and 5'6 is a healthy weight, but I understand if your unhappy with it.
Tips- stop eating crap. It's not that hard, just ask your mum to stop buying bad stuff. Snacks like chocolate, biscuits and crisps are bad, but fruit is really good- oranges and bananas especially, cause they are sweet AND satisfying.
You won't lose weight without exercise. Trust me- I have a busy schedule to yet I find time to exercise. Its not a very good excuse.
You just need to start at it, stick at it, and BE PATIENT. You won't see results until at least 3 weeks in.



Ughh I'm kinda in the same situation! Make a planner on ur comp or a piece of paper and make sure u at least have 6 or W/e fruits and veggies.. Max 200 calories or w/e your comfertable with on snacks. Before you go to bed do excersixe or do it when u wake up! Join a sports team! Just don't go crazy and unhealthy! If you can't control what u eat at home if it's bad try to suggest healthier things and eat very balanced lunches and a low cal energy enriched breakfast. It will help! Maybe try wii fit or some excersixe game so it will be funner! Best luck! xx
