I'm a girl, and I need help losing weight..?!


Question: I'm a girl, and I need help losing weight..?
I am a young teenage girl, 13 and a half, and I am 5'3
and 161 pounds. I get so depressed because I'm not "skinny" like the other people in
my family or around me. My main problem is my thighs.. They stick out and I refuse to
wear tight pants, jeans, or dresses. I also have a very, very low self-esteem level
and it bothers everyone around me...

How can I lose weight and raise my self-esteem level?

I agree with the first poster - limit yourself. Only eat when you're hungry. Don't drink anything but water, and don't eat dessert or junk food. It may sound hard, but once you start you'll feel really good about yourself! Trust me. :)

Start exercising, even if it's only for a little while a day. Do some crunches or pushups at home, go to the gym, or join a sports team (definitely the most fun but also a big commitment). Run. Bike. Swim. Anything you enjoy.

Your self esteem will go up soon! It's amazing how much body image can influence your happiness - I would know.

i feel the exact same way i have the lowest self esteem and i have Weight problems to and im 13 and every one is like 120 and im 150 i drives me crazy any way back to you maybe count your calories limit pop junk food fast food and exercise more maybe start with a walk and then walk farther the next day im right there with you :) good luck (seriously) sorry no self esteem help i don't have a self esteem at all lol

Eat hot water after meal. It boasts your metabolism. That's the easiest weight loss secret I try that really works!

Another thing is don't eat chicken and meat. Instead, consume a lot of fish.

Lastly, move around a lot. Walking around the city / village and cycling should be enough.

Maybe you should consider joining up for the gym with a friend or relative. Eating healthily and cutting down fatty foods would be needed to also loose weight. Remember not to starve yourself though!



Go for a run everyday. Limit what you eat... You know what you should eat.. It's about willpower
